Sundays River Ferry offers the perfect outdoor and teambuilding activity of sand sledding/boarding. The activity of sand sledding is contingent on the cruise. Just a short drive from Port Elizabeth on the N2 towards Grahamstown lies the village of Cannonville and Colchester. Addo Cruises / Sundays River Ferry is situated in Cannonville on the estuary of the scenic Sundays River near the southern gate to the Addo Elephant National Park. Experience the spectacular sand dunes and breathtaking views of the city of Port Elizabeth and Algoa Bay during a Sand Sledding Cruise. We are close to the Marine section of the Addo Elephant National Park. The river, on a good weather day, is calm and peaceful and offers a relaxing and memorable cruising.

The Grade 6 learners from DSG and their two accompanying teachers absolutely loved the cruise down the Sundays River. Despite the light "precipitation," our captain kept us well informed and thoroughly entertained. The highlight for the girls was definitely sliding down the dunes into the water. My Mom amd I had a fantastic time on this cruise with sand sledging! I highly recommend it as it really is great fun to wiz done the dunes. Super relaxing cruising down the river spotting wildlife as you float alone. The dunes are stunning too, steeped in history, an absolute must see! Everything was very well organised from start to finish. Maggie and Les are so friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend using these guys for this activity! - Genna
